Terrebonne Parish: CLOSED Due to the continued power outages and the time needed to assess HVAC systems and prepare buildings, schools will be closed on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024. St James Parish: UNDECIDED Hurricane restoration efforts throughout our schools are well underway! Currently, our roofing contractor is repairing roof damage and addressing any leaks. Our emergency restoration contractor is on-site extracting water from areas throughout schools, athletic facilities, and auxiliary buildings. In addition, our custodial and maintenance contractors are cleaning and getting our buildings ready for students and staff members. The school system’s HVAC service provider is at all of our sites working on HVAC systems to ensure they are running properly before the return to school.

* New Orleans Public Schools (NOLA) will be closed for the remainder of the week due to Hurricane Ida. * The closure is expected to last until Friday, September 10th. * NOLA will resume regular operations on Monday, September 16th.
