As a leading provider of technical assistance, the UNDP relies on effective procurement processes to ensure the efficient acquisition of goods, services, and infrastructure.

1. **Meteorological Monitoring & Early Warning Systems:** The organization has implemented a comprehensive network of meteorological monitoring and early warning systems across various locations.

· Promoting the use of renewable energy sources in developing countries. ## Summary

This document outlines the UNDP’s commitment to promoting sustainable development and its role in accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy. The document highlights the importance of renewable energy sources in achieving this goal.

The thematic areas considered under this LTA, but not limited to, are listed below. It should be noted that the solution is described, but as indicated, the final application may vary depending on the final project or programme needs, location and/or context. Energy or/and Resource Efficiency Audit and Assessment i. Energy and/or resource audits. ii. Energy and/or resource demand assessment. iii. Design for the implementation of energy efficiency and energy and/or resource saving measures. iv. Energy and/or resources’ efficiency monitoring and definition of related Action Plans. Broad Technology/ sector focus a. Small Scale energy solutions: i. Appliances (Solar lamps, refrigerators, clean cooking solutions, radios, etc.).

Solar PV Water Pumping (pumping system design and optimization). v. Solar PV Hybrid Systems (design and optimization of hybrid systems). vi. Solar PV Microgrids (design and optimization of microgrids).

The future of energy is smart. This is driven by the increasing adoption of digital technologies and the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions. Smart energy management and monitoring are key to achieving this vision.
